Rules and regulations for the management of the Memorial Garden are necessary to maintain it as a fitting memorial and to show respect for its purpose.
Locality: L.O.S.S. Memory Garden is located at 17211 US-71 BUS, St. Joseph, MO 64505.
The L.O.S.S. Memory Garden has been established for meditation, prayer and placement of a memorial fora deceased spouse.
1. Persons Eligible: The Memory Garden is intended for the use of L.O.S.S. members to place a memorial marker for their deceased spouse.
2. Records: A photo of the marker and placement will be taken to record placement. This signed document will be filed in the L.O.S.S. office and a copy will be sent to the member.
3. Liability: No Liability of any kind or character whatsoever is assumed by L.O.S.S., board or members for any loss or damage to the memorial garden or any items placed in the Memory Garden.
4. Size Limitation of Memorial: Items placed as a memorial can be no bigger than 6 1/2 inches by 9 inches.
5. Memorial items will be approved for placement by the L.O.S.S. Board of Directors. This is to keep items being placed as tasteful/respectful of the Memory Garden purpose and to assure that size limits are met.
6. If a member wants to remove the memorial item they placed in the garden, the member must notify a board member so the record can be updated.
7. Items placed in the memorial garden need to be weather resistant.
